• Being active in a high-tech environment and at the forefront of technology innovation automatically leads to facing challenges regarding knowledge and intellectual property. For example to position yourself against others, to explore and assess clearance, or when you envision cooperation with others. Advanced tools for IP statistics and analysis exist and the interpretation thereof may assist in defining the landscape, and hence in profiling within a particular ecosystem. Gathering information from the field and its players is extremely valuable, not only including what is directly visible on the market, but also in view of the intellectual property status and strategy which is a little harder to figure out.

A unique feature of the South Wales cluster is its strong sense of collaboration and cooperation across activities including research, promotion and skills development all
coordinated through CSconnected.
